Starting in 1984 as a rural, small-town mechanical & smash repairs

workshop (Coraki, on the Richmond River, Northern NSW),

repairing/servicing cars, trucks, & farm equipment, 6X6 AUSTRALIA

began evolving when owners we required a tow truck as NRMA

operators. Being the independent and self-assured Australian

tradesman he is, Bob bought a HQ Holden 1-tonner (308) and built a

full time bogie-drive MACHINE!

The rest, as they say, is history.

 

6X6 AUSTRALIA put 2 of Bob & Karen’s 4 sons through automotive

apprenticeships, one a Coach & Motor Bodybuilder (Steve), the other

a Motor & Plant Mechanic (Chris) during the late 1990s. Another of

their sons elsewhere became a Boilermaker (B.J.) and joined the team

in 2008.

 

Recent staff additions include our casual TA starting in 2014 (Rolly),

casual Motor-Trimmer starting in 2013 (Geoff), and new Motor

Bodybuilding apprentice (Breezy), signed-up in early February 2017.
