6x6 Australia Pty Ltd
Safe, Reliable, Heavylifting, and Stylish.General build Prices, Timelines, and optional extras
Your vehicle’s make, model, size, and carrying capacity (GVM) are some general variables in prices for our expansive range of our 6×6 conversions.
Prices start at $60,000 (Excl. GST) for a standard middle-weight Mazda ‘BT-50’ or ‘Ford ‘Ranger’ cab-chassis, and middle-weight ‘Landcruiser’ 70 series GXL 6×6 cab-chassis (4,495kgGVM).
Heavyweight ‘Landcruiser’ 70 series GXL 6×6 cab-chassis (6,080kgGVM) starts at $72,000 (Excl. GST) and includes heavy duty reinforced chassis, axle assembly, and brake assembly upgrades.
Extra works, like flatbed traybodies (Not optional. Required for federal IPA certification on new 6×6 chassis IPA) are priced as extras because these can be done at selected alternative bodywork providers and don’t have to be completed for you by 6×6 Australia Pty Ltd. This aspect can be provided for you here at 6×6 Australia Pty Ltd prior to attaching our ID plate to provide your vehicle’s new identity as a 6×6, or provided by another bodymaker of your choice prior to us attaching our IPA plate under the bonnet for rego/insurance purposes of any modified vehicle and its new ID as a 6×6 vehicle.
Other bespoke bodyworks and optional extras/accessories can be selected in your vehicle’s brief build item list. We initially outline these items with you in the build’s formal Purchase Agreement after discussing its initial requirements with you at the beginning.
Our 6×6 cab-chassis conversions take 8-12 weeks to complete.
Extra time is typically allocated for extra items. For example, 5 weeks extra for “Wagon to Dual-cab” bodywork (expert spraypaint refinish on exteriors and motor-trimming on interiors); 2 weeks extra for a custom Flatbed tray (supplied & fitted); and for extra accessories, like custom Long Range fuel tanks (designed, manufactured, and supplied & fitted).
See our extras page for details of the general process and optional extras.
