Bob and wife Karen, Steve, BJ, Geoff, and Mike.

BOB JAMES – GENERAL MANAGER

Bob works throughout all our operations and oversees every build. He is Chief Executive and Technical Director (Head of R&D) at 6X6 AUSTRALIA Pty Ltd.

KAREN JAMES – COMPANY SECRETARY

Karen has been with Bob since way before our company’s inception, and works now behind the scenes as his PA and as a leading company administrator to keep us forging ahead.

STEVE JAMES – OFFICE MANAGER

Steve completed his Coach-building apprenticeship with us back in 1999 and is now employed as Office Manager and Executive Director, only welding Chassis & Suspensions occasionally.

BRENDAN “B.J.” JAMES – Vehicle Builder Tradesman

B.J. started out as a Certified Boilermaker tradesman, later becoming qualified in Vehicle-building to take charge of the frame shop, and does most of our welding. He also leads the workflow of our assembly operations floor, toward the final completion of conversions or packaging of kits for freight overseas.

GEOFF – MOTOR TRIMMING/UPHOLSTERY

Geoff works with us on a casual basis when we have any Motor Trimming/Upholstery bodywork to complete and guides each aspect of these projects.

BREEZY – APPRENTICE BODYMAKER

Breezy started with us in February 2017 and is staying on to complete his apprenticeship as a Motor Vehicle Bodymaker.

THE WORK CREW

Bob works with two  of his sons, Stevo & BJ, one of his brother-in-laws, Geoff (Motor Trimmer), and Mike (Apprentice Bodymaker). From time-to-time we will employ casual Tradesmen &/or Labour staff when required.

Our small team of dedicated workers band together, supplying homegrown craftsmanship and good old-fashioned “Hard Yakka” as we honour our customers by honouring ourselves, our company name, and our product.
